The half-yearly exams were just one step on the road — the final destination of success lies ahead, waiting for us to reach it with confidence and hard work.

Whenever exams come around, most of us start worrying about one thing: marks. How much will I score? Will it be enough? What will everyone say? But honestly, exams are much more than just numbers on a sheet. They’re part of our journey, teaching us lessons that no textbook can. They help us grow, stay strong, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.

Our first stop was the Lok Sabha, beautifully designed on the theme of a peacock’s feathers. From one of the six main viewing galleries, we learned about the functioning of the Parliament. Next, we visited the Rajya Sabha, which, though smaller, was equally impressive, with its design inspired by the national flower, the lotus. Following this, we explored three art galleries that showcased remarkable displays. 

Kothari International School, Noida, observed Dakshita Diwas on August 2, 2025, under the insightful guidance of Principal Dr. Sangeeta Arora. The event was graced by the presence of School Trustee Dr. Avinash Gupta, Principal Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Vice Principal Ms. Nidhi Kapoor, and an enthusiastic gathering of parents.

The session highlighted futuristic careers in fields such as Data Science, AI & Robotics, Environmental Engineering, Design, Liberal Arts, and Behavioral Sciences, while emphasizing the importance of 21st-century skills, including creativity, critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving. Students received in-depth guidance on profile building, entrance exam preparation, Indian and international university options, and scholarship opportunities.

This unhurried pace didn’t merely entertain us—it shaped us. It taught us how to wait, imagine, reflect, and focus. It allowed us to sit with a feeling, follow a story through, and return the next day with anticipation. It gave us room to think.
