As my car rolled onto the Kothari International School (KIS) campus, I couldn’t help but feel a wave of awe wash over me. The grandeur of the place was palpable, and the soft echoes of Indian instrumental music filled the air, setting the stage for a truly intellectual environment. But what really stole my heart was when the young Kotharians greeted me with folded hands, bowing and saying "Namaskar." Talk about a warm welcome – I could already feel the strength of Indian values alive and well!

After 25 years in education, stepping into KIS felt like being a young girl starting at a new school (minus the awkward first-day jitters, of course). The warmth from everyone – from the esteemed principal and administrative team to the teachers, didis, bhaiyas, and even the guards – was like a cozy hug that made me feel right at home.

What really excites me, though, is the joyful learning I can already see unfolding here. The students' enthusiasm is infectious, and the teachers? Well, they’re not just educators, but fellow learners, making this a truly vibrant, dynamic place. It’s a unique blend of collaboration and curiosity, where everyone – students and teachers alike – are constantly discovering, growing, and laughing together.

Despite my years in the field, the kid in me is still alive and kicking. I’m ready for the new challenges, new journeys, and new friendships that await. KIS has reignited that spark in me, and I’m more excited than ever to help make it the best school in India. Here’s to a wonderful, laughter-filled adventure ahead!

Love and light
