KIS Shines at Everyday Science Contest by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE

Mahi Tyagi and Vynayak from KIS receiving award

We're thrilled to announce another remarkable achievement by Kothari International School! Mahi Tyagi and Rudrr Vynayak Bhatt from Grade 12 made us proud by securing the runner-up trophy at the Grand Finale of the prestigious "Everyday Science" contest. Hosted by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, this event took place on April 9th, 2024, at Suncity School Gurugram.

Students explaining their project

The journey to success began with the preliminary round back in December, where our dynamic duo showcased their scientific acumen. The contest aims to cultivate a passion for science by integrating real-life applications and creative presentations.

For the final round, themed around "INERTIA," Mahi and Rudrr mesmerized the audience with their 15-minute presentation. Using everyday objects, they brilliantly illustrated the concept of Inertia through a mix of exhibits, activities, role-plays, poems, and models crafted from recycled materials.

Their presentation resonated with the viewers, earning accolades from the judges for its innovation and collaborative spirit. The depth of knowledge displayed by the students was truly commendable.

Furthermore, their presentations will be archived as learning materials by the Ministry of Education, emphasizing their contribution to the field of education. The entire event was captured by the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell team and will be featured on the Ministry of Education's YouTube channel and the higher education DTH channel, ‘Swayamprabha’.

Heartfelt congratulations to Mahi Tyagi, Rudrr Vynayak Bhatt, and the entire KIS community for this outstanding achievement! Stay tuned for more updates on our school blogsite, where we celebrate excellence in education and innovation.
