As a part of the KIS Enrichment Programme, an informative workshop was organised with Jitin Chawla’s Centre for Career Development on 22 AUGUST, 2023 to engage the students of Grades 11 & 12 in understanding the concept of profile building. The resource person for this session was Mr Jitin Chawla, Founder and director of Jitin Chawla’s Centre for Career Development.
The workshop began with an introduction on the notion of profile building and it involved an interesting activity, wherein the students were asked to share their own perspective on the importance of profile building.
This was followed by another interactive activity, in which the students were shown profiles encompassing a detailed discussion on the ways to create an appropriate profile, and the exploration of numerous courses and internships, in turn assisting them to acknowledge the significance of profile building in their career ahead.
The workshop ended with sharing insights on the process of gaining exposure through internships in their chosen field of interest. Overall, this workshop served as an impeccable opportunity for the students of Grades 11 & 12 to gain knowledge about the concept of profile building, components of a profile, and the power of internships, in turn facilitating them towards creating a skill set for better opportunities to grow and prosper as a whole.
